Again, typical American-style two-choice decision. THere's nothing in the middle, right? I'm either a fascist, or a communist, but nothing exists in the middle.Quote:

Taking a document written in the 1770s literally is absolutely stupid. In case you haven't noticed, we're in the year 2005. That's a 230 year difference. Are you going to tell me that your priorities are the same as people who lived 230 years ago? Are you saying you need your government to do the same thing it did 230 years ago? Do you need to fight off the British army because you don't wanna pay taxes to the king anymore? Do you need to dispossess millions of natives from their own land?Quote:

That is a straight out lie. I asked you a question. I never said that you had to be either one or the other, you added that in. Your programed responses won't work with me. I have seen most of them before. Again, your typical holer then thou canadian style BS is a hypocritical pile of crap.
"THere's nothing in the middle, right? "
Wrong, there is plenty in the middle. Had you not assumed to know the meaning of my question, and just answered it, you might have seen that there is something in the middle. Of course there is only what you believe and what I believe, theres nothing in the middle, right?
"I'm either a fascist, or a communist, but nothing exists in the middle."
Hmmm, yep, you got that right?! I like sarcasim. You should make sure you are using it in the right way though. If I ask you a question, it doesn't mean I am impyling an answer every time. It means I am asking for an answer sometimes, to see what you think of what ever I am questioning you about. Not everyone is alway as sarcastic as you.
"nobody here's telling anyone what to do, in fact the government is made up of a bunch of cowards who cave in to every demand made by taxpayers."
Your blind to what your own government does. How many people does your government kill every year to earn a profit? How much oppression and death is placed on others so that you can retire in comfort? How many nuclear bombs has your exported plutonium produced? Is your government still jailing people for drugs? I believe your government is lying to you taxpayers in canada.
"I'm not saying our government is better than yours, I'm just trying to prove that there's more than yes or no, black or white, up or down."
So you got something to prove do ya? You may not have needed to prove anything if you had not tried to read something into my question that wasn't there in the first place.
"Taking a document written in the 1770s literally is absolutely stupid."
So your saying the amendments that protect Freedom of speech, religion, and so on are stupid? Interesting thought's you have man. I wonder, do you also think it is stupid to not want to be randomly searched by the government? Stupid??? Stupid is thinking a government without the constraints of a document spelling out it's powers in a firm and unchanging way is somehow a good thing. Like I said before, ignoring that document is why we have a drug war. Say, hows that drug war prisoner release of yours going? Ha!
"In case you haven't noticed, we're in the year 2005."
We are??? Fuck!!! I 'm getting old!
"That's a 230 year difference."
Damn, that's gotta mean we have one of the oldest governments around. Cool!
"Are you going to tell me that your priorities are the same as people who lived 230 years ago?"
When it comes to liberty, and rights, yes, I will tell you they are the same.
"Do you need to fight off the British army because you don't wanna pay taxes to the king anymore?"
No, but I do want my government to respect my rights that are spelled out in the constitution. Theres something about letting the government decide what is and what isn't a right that just doesn't sit well with me. I would rather my rights be set in stone.
"Didn't think so."
Hmmm, I guess that means it's either your way or no way. Must not be any middle of the road when it's you speaking. I guess you didn't think, so now you will need to think again.

I don't really think Dave Chappelle is a full blown "RACIST" as you say. The key here is he is doing it "FOR MONEY" ... Underneath it all, he might be racist, and he might not be. It doesnt really matter, because everyone is entitled to their own view.Quote:

Also, I really dont believe anyone is *serious* when they say stuff like 'oh dave chappelle is so great, he's the man, he needs to run for president' etc etc. Honestly think about it, Dave Chappelle could never become the president lol. He could try, but not enough people would vote for him, due to his controversial humor style. And would he even run for pres? Doubt it.
The last thing I'd like to say is, yeah he might be a little racist. But alot of people are, underneath it all. Not everyone, no definately not everyone.
I'm gonna give one example: I'm from Minnesota and there is mostly white people and native americans up here. There are alot of african americans too. I know alot of white girl's parents. Now, no matter how much that 16 year old girl's dad says he's not a racist, in the end, does he really approve of his daughter going out with a black guy? No, probably not. This is racism. I've seen lots of times where a white girl will go out all night with an african american and her dad will get pissed. But if she is out all night with a white guy, its all fine??? Racism my friend. It happens all over. Whether it's fully spoken up front, or just the inner thoughts that never get spoken.
And just a little side note, but I think Dave get's away with his show cuz he actually *does* make fun of his own race. That must be the key to successful racism on tv lol. :P
I mean, not to go off ranting at you or anything. Just making discussion and throwin my opinion out there. Much <3

i hate the way politics is even managing to divide us pot smokers :( unite against the tyranny from ALL sides.. not just from whichever party you happen to dislike
