I guess I must be lucky then. I have a system launch xbox and have never had red ring problems.
I don't have a system cooler on it and have been known to leave it on for a week at a time.
Hooray for luck.

lol melkane.. the failure rate would drop considering its been out for about a year.. maybe 2 .. the ps3 doesnt come without problems either tho.. the blueray lens seems to just die after a few month.. this happened to me.. its happened twice to some people i no.. but sony will replace ur ps3 for free.. only took 2 days for my new one to arrive.. plus i took out the hard drive and just gave the guy the ps3.. now ive got 120gig :D (to separate 60gig) or a £100+ gift from sony if i sell one of them hahaha

if you buy a 360 now you should have no problems at all. with new chip design tech. and the copper tubed cooler in front of the fins they have MUCH less heat created and more cooling, therefore less 3-ring.. there a whole lot quieter too:thumbsup:
lol if u dont like ps3 u should just sell it instead of spending more money on it (buying games) .. sell the ps3 and the games and buy more games for 360.. it's that simple :thumbsup:Quote:

I got mine back in september and i havent had one problem i just keep it well ventilated the bottom of my xbox sits above 1.5 inches off the little table its on so that way it gets maximum ventilation. All your friends with problems dont do preventive care for the most part i bet. I am not saying 360's dont break. Just dont put it on your carpet. It pisses me off when people put there consoles on carpets and then bitch when they break. Just make sure all your vents are clear of obstructions and i can gurantee your xbox will last longer and run without as many freezes. Mine freezes once everyone 1-2 weeks which aint shit if you ask me.Quote:
