lol. Nah man our budget is really low and it's one of the only cars that I actually liked that were avilable to me and made sense on every level. I'm just upset because I'm gonna have a very, very hard time finding another car that I want.Quote:

When you're young, you want a car that goes fast and looks pretty. When you're older you want a car that'll last a long time and not give you any trouble.
I went through a similar experience which involved a Triumph TR3, my father, and my own money. My dream car. I asked my father to look at it, as I always used to, and he popped the hood, took a sniff, and told me "This car's had some sort of electrical fire". I was devastated, wanted that car so bad, but took his advice and didn't buy it. The guy who finally did had nothing but trouble with it.
A succession of MG's, sporty American muscle cars, and a few motorcycles has taught me a few things; to buy for the long run, always be ready to say no thanks and walk away, that modified vehicles often run badly and are expensive to repair, and that the old mans advice has saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of headaches over the years. I'd have walked away from any car that didn't have oil in the engine; that says a lot, about both the car and the seller.
Just my 2 cents.

Sheesh! I understand your disappointment but c'mon! It'd be nice that was all that made me depressed! Its a car! And a car that mummys buying! Wheres her sense!?! And ur gratitude!?!
Realistically its not the end of the world and if your patient u will find another one to ur taste. Rmbr if ur spending that amount of money uv got to do it right, and considering its ur mums theres little u can do. If YOU want to pick n choose what car YOU want, best get the money urself.
Little satisfaction if you've not worked for it and all u really need is something to get u from A to B. It'l do its job, be cheap to run and tbh, be more impressive than a beast ur MUM forked out for. Wait until ur big enough to spend ur OWN hard earned pennies on a heap of junk.
Yeah dude, its her money. I dont wanna sound tight, but your acting a little immature. There are plenty of cars out there, and im sure youll find another you like, even if you are picky.

I think 4252 is the only one here who understands what happened, and frankly, I only find his reply to have any credibility. This wasn't just a "no, you can't have it" situation, I'd know better then to bitch all the way to hell and back if it was like that.
