I could have used an extension of the unemployment benefits, but that was traded away. The job I had for the past 10 years, was shipped over to China...:(...last year.

I'll bet it was. Cheaper labor costs not to mention 10% cheaper on the Corporate tax rate. The U.S. is currently at 35% and pretty much the highest tax in the industrialized world. Wonder why our jobs are going overseas? Listen to the Dems debates....they want to raise that rate!:mad:

It's simply devaluing the dollar to give the economy a kick-start, keep people spending. Fact is there comes a point when people have to be smart, and start on spending on things that give a return, and not solely on comsumption.

It's so hard to find stuff NOT made in China these days, 'cept for Carhartt, which makes some tough-as-nails work clothes by the way...

I think the measure will fail and the administration will blame it on the Americans because we didn't spend the money that we are forced to SAVE to pay for other expenses.

Either way, I will take The Stoned Wizard's approach and purchase a mother load of weed that might last me until the country falls from under my feet.

Does anyone know the specific qualifications because I'm wondering if I'll get one.
