He never really seemed that "into it". I think he figured he could just show up and eveyone would vote for him, guess he was wrong.
Besides, he's a much better actor anyway.

It is really funny that Fred wasn't even being serious about it and was doing better then Wrong Paul who is still pretending to be running for president. What the hell is he doing, and what num nuts are going to be giving him any money?:wtf:
Until the Republican Party allows independants to vote I don't think we will get any different candidates than we already have. At least for Wrong Paul, he will never have a chance with out independants. Just my honest opinion.

I think skeptics would be quite surprised how america would feel about ron paul if he got the media coverage everyone else gets..

The same ideals that this country fatefully elected george bush as our president..at least as far as foreign policy is concerned..too bad bush did a 180 on us, oil wouldn't be $100 a barrel..oh right, I remember now, it was in his best interest to drive up the prices of oil..
Hunter S Thompson always used to cover politics and do a great job of dragging the absurdity out into the light.
I wonder what Hunter S Thompson would have thought of Sleepy-Ass Thompson.
so im just curious why do you dislike ron paul so much?Quote:

He lets people think that he will legalize marijuana, however I haven't seen anything from him directly that supports this? Even on his own website, he has lots of papers that he has written on lots of subjects, but nothing specifically related to legalization, why? And why does everybody say that he advocates it, yet you can't find anything on his national website? This means that he does not have the courage of his own convictions, or he is a fraud. Both lend themselves to make a bullshit candidate. One more thing, in the last debate, I believe he said in responses to illegal immigration, "The law is the law and Federal law should be enforced period."
So he feels that way about just illegal immigration? :wtf: I would love to see some video of him talking about marijuana, not a video of some other people talking about it with him or about him. Even a paper that he wrote would be great! I actually like some of the points that he does make, but he is too flaky to be our president. For instance in the last debate when he got all in a tussy about how "bush is ready to attack at the drop of a hat and all these candidates up on the stage are just looking for a reason to attack Iran?"
Then the moderator says "um everyone said they supported the decsion not to attack those boats"
Ron Paul, "um um huh what o I didn't hear"
It's because he doesn't listen and only hears what he wants to hear. I would pick him over a dem any day of the week though.
For your other question, no, I do not support any of the Republican nominees, they are all flawed in major ways for me personally and I am disappointed in my party.:(
As for Ron Paul, it just seems silly to me that people support him because they think he himself will do something about marijuana, when in fact he could do little to nothing about it even if he really did want to, which I don't believe as true. I am open to learning though, and ask again, please provide some links or something that has him talking about his specific position and what he would do as president with regard to Federal Marijuana laws.
