man, thats depressing, but, yeah...
Would someone, for once, tell me what they think, not what they feel. How can you base your life on feelings? Why don't you use your only tool of survival nature endowed you with; your brain? Think, don't feel. Feelings are never clear-sighted.
I'm refering to more than just semantics...
first i voted labour
then green
then democrat
then labour
or something like that.
god bless australia.
its a wide brown land.

How is it-that Bush qualified to fly a fighter jet-if he was skippin drill ? It takes more brains to fly a fighter jet, than to run around on a little boat, playing hero for his own camera.
I'm 45 years old-I ain't no kid..but maybe you are..how old are you ? Have you ever served your country ? I have.
hell they all polish thier asses on fancy seats now so its the lesser of two evils?Quote:

Howdy NoWhereMan,
Well..you make some good points,man..heck,most of my computer security,is to protect me from my own goverment ! That's pretty daggum sad..huh?
Have a good one...:)
all kerry did at that hearing was tell the truth. my father was over their, like i said in 67-68 for a little over a year and he came back against the war,and he was in the military since ww11 i believe kerrys wounds were real- it was bushs smear campaign that made people believe they wernt. you say your 45-so i guess you were too young to remember what was really going on over there. everyone tried to get out of going. i dont blame bush for ducking out, anyone with half a brain was doing the same thing-National guard or Canada
BUSH's flight quals...OK but the guys got connections Im sorry....and he did'nt go fight..
Im 42
I was an army medic in the early 80's..there were just no wars for me at the time...what can I say??

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone tried to git out of going, many volunteered, for several tours..because they know that communism is a scourge on the world..and must be stopped.
Sorry Torog I would bet that Kerry has a higher IQ than Bush and thats important to me.....
In reference to Iraq I would be there now but I am past the age to re-enlist and I had a heart attack last year so thats out.....Even if I thought the big picture was wrong I would serve my country again cause war is usually the price of freedom.....
OH BTW I hope Nader runs again he makes alot of sense....
