What are you going to grow?

That's funny Student, about the elk, i mean. up here in northern michigan we also have elk, not in my backyard but close by. and i can step outside and listen to the coyotes yapping, most nights...i've never grown out in the woods, but plan to this spring and i'm kinda worried about the deer, rabbits, etc. i've got some chickenwire for fences, but don't want to attract attention either. has anybody ever tried to grow early misty or known someone who has? it might be a good plant for up here, but not if it's low-yield or not good smoke. ciao :)

my main threat is moose, theres mosse shit all around town so I gotta drink couple gallons of water b4 I grow. Ima start it all outside using Green Shaman's method. don't know what to expect yield wise but I think by the number of plants it should be enough for me all year and some. And if I feel going commercial I have over 30 other Afghani seeds sitting in the fridge :D
the stardust 13 is an experiment really, then I will do one more test indoors and start breeding them which is why I got them.

hi llamaman.....thats cool about the moose. so what kind of early strains do you favor? i figure if you can have a good grow in mooseland, i can find a good strain for elkland, lol. frost here mid-sept. i'm planting further out in the woods this year, have you ever had deer eat ur plants? keep on jammin' :)

I have grown early girl, early bud, top 44, and many ruderalis crosses including durban/russian, ruderalis indica (sensi) and ruderalisXhashplant(also called rude hash)

hi llamaman....ty for your reply. interesting, i've got 20 top 44 seeds and reading the reviews says its a high yielder and skunky! also have 10 early buds under the lights for outdoor growing this spring....they look real nice, wide leaves. also 10 early mistys and i ordered 10 more. but i also sprouted 10 leda unos...prolly a mistake buying them as they prolly won't finish in time in this cool climate, but they sound yummy. also have 40 papayas to sprout, read LOTS of good stuff about them. oh yeah, got 20 shiva seeds, but they prolly won't finish up here either, what do you think? ciao.

I reckon,that when ya say "I gotta drink a couple gallons of water before I grow",that you mean you're gonna piss around your grow site ? I wonder,are moose afraid of coyotes or wolves ? How about grizzly bear or black bear ? Are there urine repellants with bear or wolf piss ?

yup, its a teritorial thing, females dont go around males except in mating season, so they wont go there (males are the only moose who spray) and males dont wana go in others teritory so theyll smell it and know its not theres and hall ass away. Two angry males is not fun, so they know to go

and yea, i doubt shiva, if it is pure and not early shiva, will finish properly, dont no shit about leda unos, just that its a strain.
is this gonna be an outdoor grow? cuz outdoor plants will yield around a pound usually, my WORSE plant ever outdoors was a runt yielding 8 ounces! so be prepared to smoke like fuck if you aint gonna sell or grow only some of them. But then again, you seem pretty new to growing so some may die, but beware!
I dono if you know this allready, but your spots should be picked out and prepared allready. Make sure they are well off the path of people so they dont get ripped by rippers on blazed by cops. And i wouldnt suggest more than 10 plants per grow spot
