Extremely acidic or alkaline pH can lock out nutrients, and would probably be the reason you're showing symptoms of an Iron or Zinc deficiency. I posted this same response last night, but the server started acting funny right as I posted it. And I didn't want to repost the same thing 1000 times, so I just let it go.
But Stinky pretty much nailed it on the head. Get the pH of your soil and water to a reasonable level, which will allow for the uptake of the nutrients that are currently locked out. After fixing the pH, should you still need to feed with a fertilizer, start with about 1/4 of the recommended dosage until the problem is fixed.
And those leaves don't look necrotic, so just leave them. They should regain at least some of their lush green color after the problem has been remedied.
hanayama, i do believe you are incorrect. herreic and i are at family christmas right now talking about how goofy you are. idk whats up w/ the 8.0 runoff ph. i hope it wasn't b/c of that fert i had before hand. ill give ya a call in a sec
my apologies then flyguy, i was misinformed
i think it may be b/c of the other fert.
theres no other reason i can think of, no worries though, they are still looking nice and healthy
squire stuben, i think i can call you that w/o much accord. ill be down prolly for new years as the llama is going to be in ohio. so lets get crunked. did you just give them water today?
no, they were watered yesterday too, i just gave them 200 mls today to start flushing
and yes
crunkdom will be had
Count me in on the crunkdom... 30 years old and stuck on the family vacation from hell... 4 people in a 2007 Accord... 6+ hours each way... good thing I brought the one-hitter and my Auntie's fridge is well stocked with all manner of provisions...
You gotta give 3 x the volume of the pot for flushing. Giving a small amount of the pH adjuster without flushing will simply LEAVE the salts left after the neutralization IN THE SOIL and add to your problems.
MORE LIQUID!!! (Heck, I'ma go tell Auntie that right now~)
hanayamamaca macarana........don't call in sick again to work. do you work today? herreic does but i still might come down to indy tonight instead of tomorrow. and my phone is dead so thats why i never call
thanks for the advice stinky, have fun at the family shindig my advice...
