Ash?

Just blow on the bowl lightly. Smoke until it all of it flies out. Just my method.

After a bit, you can just tell.

oh come on, everyone knows you're just supposed to snort the ashes. psh, freaking douchebags trying to rip of a new smoker by telling him to throw out his ashes? u guys oughta be ashamed

if the ash has some black in it, you might gat a cash hit out of it. once it's completely grey and dumps out of the bowl easily, it's cashed.

if i pack a bowl ill just hit it 2 or 3 times evenly(or until the green is gone).then get a knife and scrap the ashes out until u feel the weed then put a little more on top of the bowl. then smoke:jointsmile:

We call it cashing/cache-ing (little computer humor there, har.) And when it happens, the bowl is gone. It depends on all the variables said so far.. I think its pretty well covered.

I think it depends on your smoking habits really. I considered the bowl cashed when it no longer tastes good, but i don't pay for my weed, and probably would not be smoking that way if i did.

I think you're safe to say its time to put in in the ash tray when its all gray.

Not my play staion but its still cool, and its not a key bord its like a little blackberry key board, I want one, any way we were smoking playing with a friends christmas gift, and I was like "what". But a friend said sumthin worth while to the discusion and that is,

Ash is a good way to see if you are getting a quality smoke, if your ash is black then normaly you will taste a chemical type taste when smoking and usualy it is hard to keep lit in a Jay.

When ash is grey/ black you will usualy still have some taste problems however the Jay is easier to keep lit.

A white ash or dirty white ash is usaly what you look for, it stays lit and taste is at peak.

most people i know say you should clear the whole bowl in one hit,... but thats jus round here
