Glad to hear bro, i am thinking of giving the VaporGenie to someone as a gift, so i haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, how is it?

Jesus, that thing fucked me up royally last night. Potcake and I partook in that beast of a Vaporizer, and to be honest I was not expecting the high that I got. The first couple times I used it, we both shared a small bowl, each getting maybe 3 bags from it. But last night, Potcake and I decided to do one bowl EACH, getting about 6 bags each at a time. And woah... we probably only went through .3 grams last night, maybe .5 or .6, and i swear I was a bumbling idiot... I've been smoking for 4 years, and it usually takes a lot of bud for me to get to that point. But with this thing, it just keeps tossing you higher! This morning my lungs felt great, and the only grogginess I felt was a result of staying up late using the damn thing :) Potcake was supposed to put his review up, but he's either been way too fucked up, or just too busy, heh.

It's like I read on here, someone posted that he took Vape hits for a week straight, and then couldn't go back to smoking a bowl. True, there is a slightly different high with a vape than a bowl, but in the end you get JUST as fucked up, if not more. It really is a remarkable product, I give it an A++.

I was the same way, i've been writing my "review" for days now, but i just haven't completed it yet ;) Ya the vape definetly gets you to that good level, but i do find myself smoking a nice blunt/bowl at the end of the night to tire myself out, since the vape never really gives me a tired high.

See the only time I've really used it, or rather got real FUCKED UP off it, is real late at night. And since it takes a little more time to use than a bowl, cuz it takes time to heat and vape and whatnot, we usually end up taking longer than we realize. So maybe next time we use it we'll have to do it in the afternoon and see how the tired-ness goes.

I saw on here recently someone saying that they weren't a fan of a vape b/c it didn't give them "couch lock". I think we all know couch lock from our experiences with blunts, potent shit, etc... but i'll be damned if that thing didn't give couch lock, or rather bed lock (since that's where we used it). Maybe last night's high was unique, but I felt more doused with THC than ever, and it was defffffinitely reminiscent of smoking the old fashion way.... Just without all the cardiovascular shtuffffff..

I hear ya man, I mean any stoner can agree that "couchlock" effect isn't nessessarily bad, i enjoy that high, and can easily say, i can vape and vape and vape forever, but im always gonna have that occasional blunt. I think for me, im an all day smoker, i enjoy a nice smoke when i wake up in the morning, and sometimes, with blunts thats just hard to do and stay active every single day, and the vape completely eliminates that for me. While the high in my opinion is alot different then with smoking, its nevertheless an effective and wonderful high.


But yeah, try vaping early on in the day, to be perfectly honest, ever since i've gotten the vape, i've used it every day, and i can't get to late in the day without smoking/vaping :-P So usually my first vape is at the latest, noon. :rastasmoke:

Did you get a chance to use the VaporGenie that came with the HerbalAire? if so, how is it?


P.S - It may because of my quality bud, saddly, the higher quality bud hasn't been around in my area for awhile, and even when it is, its way to pricey. So im stuck on mid grade at the moment, which may be why i get the tired effect, im sure someone smoking blunts/bowls all day of super high grade bud, may have a different experence.

I totally will go for the early morning Vape-toke. Potcake and I are in finals week at our college, so it hasn't been the best time to try all-day smoking, but White, dude, Im totally with you on that all-day-smoker thing lol. I don't know that I've ever wake/baked with a blunt (i think that'd just send me right back to bed lol) but we definitely have been using the Vape every day since we got it.

I think today might be the first day we're not using it, just for various reasons involving studying, singing, timing, etc... The VaporGenie i actually HAVE used, but I'm still working it out... it was designed specifically for tobacco, so Im just figuring out how to use it with Weed. I think the problem Im experiencing is that Im not breaking the weed up fine enough. I do run into the risk of clogging the screen with such small parts, but it really is necessary to make it fine or else you'll have to keep messing with it between each toke.

As far as the quality of its hits, it sometimes feels like a Plaecebo effect on me... like if i jUST use the genie, I'll get high, but kind of forget about it. The thing is, it doesn't hold much weed, and the chamber gets kind of hot becuase of the constant lighter use, so not only is it necessary to keep packing it, but I needa put it down every now and then to let it cool.

But I'm still fucking stoked about it, I mean i've only legit used it like 2 or 3 times, Im sure when I get some time alone w/ it I will totally have it figured out. It's like the Remote Control to a new tv, if I can get my hands on it for 5 uninterupted minutes I can channel surf w/ my eyes closed! (but that makes it hard to see what im watching) :i feel stupid:

I hear the bag's have no "cap" on the end of the straw (i guess the volcano does?) so when the bag is finished filling, if you were passing the bag around among friends, you'd have to put your finger over the straw, so the vape doesn't flow out. Again, don't see any real problem with that personally.

3.) Pretty much the only time i came across a negative HA review, was the issue of the HA being plastic, unlike the volcano. This unit is quite small, and plastic casing, so i can see where die hard vape fans would want a more solid structure. But the only thing that concerns me, is if the heating mechnism has any plastic parts that may heat up and burn, causing me to inhail burnt plastic with my vape, but as far as i've researched, it doesn't, so no problem there.


One of the other main things that sold me on the vape, was on that comparing video, it showed, as many many people claim, that you can in fact, get more bags out of "used volcano herb" in the HA, since the HA has better extraction then the Volcano, and in the end, that's what we want right? Not sure about you, but i want a vaporizer because i want to extract as much THC out of my bud as possible, and this surely does the trick. :D

I'll hopefully receive my HA tomorrow (tuesday 11/27) so i will definetly get my review up here and what i think of its use. In the meantime, if you do decide to go with the HerbalAire, or want to speak to very helpful people for any questions you may have reguarding the HA, or simply was sold on the idea to get an HA, and you just want a $50 off coupon, please reply here, or post some sort of msging ID (AIM or something) and i'll talk to you privately and more efficently.

Also, which vaporizer is your final pick for direct hits? I'm a bit concerned about the HA mouthpiece heating up, or inhaling air that's too hot bc I understand HA lacks a long whip. Solutions or suggestions?

Mr. White hasn't posted in a couple of months, so here's my response as a satisfied 2 year herbalAire owner. Greatvape.com is the only dealer selling under $250. They have a limited time sale for $230. Very good dealer.

The herbalAire mouthpiece doesn't get too hot for direct draw, nor does the vapor. I've even used the main mouthpiece itself. You can easily attach tubing if you want.

The Extreme Vaporizer, at $300, is a little more satisfying for direct draw, and does bags as well. But it doesn't compare to a good whip only vape for hits. For whip only use, I'd go with the Da Buddha (hands free) or Silver Surfer. Both provide excellent hits, are very reliable, and have a very safe vapor path, with fresh air coming into the heater cover about an inch below the top of the heater, bypassing all the electronics.
