I thought that was clear. Sorry about the tiff on your thread, but that guy irritates me with all the bogus BS he posts. Your plants are fragile right now and one wrong move can kill them - a fact he seems to care nothing about.
I don't grow in soil, I grow in coco, so I don't know what to tell you about how to water your clones. But I'd get some water around them ASAP. Water lightly for 2"-3" around the clone, so that the roots have something to chase after, then answer Stinky's questions and hope she gets back to you 'cuz you couldn't ask for a better tutor than her.

No, the root zone needs O2, not CO2.
I really enjoy coming on here in the morning and having to spend all this time cleaning up after these little messes. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I might take a vacation... or, more efficiently, send you on one. I've got better shit to do than follow a nOOb around correcting bad info AFTER I have already asked said noob several times to LEARN FIRST AND TEACH LATER.
There has only been one ban in for posting misinformation around here as far as I know... I'm wondering whether making it two would make my life a little easier.

I have to wonder if it is the same person.....I'm sure you have checked. But the subtle maliciousness involved strikes me as being exactly the same.

roots need o2 yes, but the plant itself needs carbon to grow, and that is provided by the co2 in the atmosphere. and if your trying to argue, my first post actually said "need a lot of water (as long as they get some o2 in the soil as well)". cuttings will quickly develop roots if they have any hopes of growing, and will need a plentiful supply of water when that moment arrives.

Again more misinformation.
The new roots don't need a plentiful supply of water, they need a modest supply of water, slightly moist conditions, when they first start out.
Jeez, Stinky, just ban this friggin troll - for life. And block his IP address. This is just BS trolling and he knows he's on his last day here so now he's stalking you and arguing with you. A slap on the wrist isn't going to make him less of a troll. Off with his head, I say!! (We need a guillotine emoticon. :D )

I dont think the guy needs to be banned i just think he should stop trying to help everyone until he really has alot of experience along with the stuff he reads. It seems like he really tries to help but he just doesnt know as much as he think he knows.
Whatever though just dont bash me because i think the guy should be spared. I'm not trying to take sides it just seems like he wants to help and i'm sure he'd help alot more if he knew more!

Great - Then you can take the time to correct all of his misinformation until he learns. He makes more posts than anyone else on this forum, almost all of it misinformation, so be prepared to put a lot of time and effort into this chore. Be sure to stay on top of your duties, people's grows are depending on you.
Check back in a couple weeks and let us know if you are still feeling so charitable.

ya know this is actually a funny topic. I know that I have read quite a few different grow logs and guides since I have started. It seems like everyone that I read is different. Some people say this is the way and others say that is the way. Some are wrong some are right.
I know I was misinformed until I started here on Cannabis. Maybe he is getting others ideas mixed up with the actual way to grow. Or maybe even the whole water thing is a cross between hydro and soil. Don't know how but ya never know.
So I personally think 1 of 2 things are happening.
1.) He is just trying to get post up to say "hey I have 5,000 posts".
or
2.) He is trying to help with information that he learned that was wrong.
I know my first though of growing was different until I compared grow guides and asked ALOT of questions. Alot of people misinformed me of the proper way to do things and others were nothing but helpful.
So, I know that I like to help people but I also like to be corrected when I make a mistake.
Klondike_bar where did you learn how to grow? Just curious not bashing you.
I just seen this on your name Stinkyattic. Thought it was cool

Klondike; to argue with these folks is a great injustice to your own crops. Keep that in mind when you're wondering why a good yielder gave you a joint.;)
