I like lots of different music styles but I love rock, wether it's 50's rock 'n' roll or seventies glamrock or even punk , rock will always rule.
Some of the lesser known people I would have in my favourite 100 rock acts would have to be:

theres nothing wrong with listening to classic rock but its fucked up when people say its the best music and belittle everything else.

Classic Rock is too generalized, it's a radio term.
One could argue that Nirvana is classic rock. In a few years, what's to say a band like Sublime will be considered classic rock.
The only thing many of these bands lumped together have in common is that they aren't present day.
Otherwise, their music is totally different, and should be judged in an individual basis.

Dont get me wrong, i love classic rock, and i really dont like alot of new music, but there are still lots of good bands, and lots of people still listen to old rock.

classical rock is just a classification for a generation of music and nothing more then that.
and Nirvana is not at all in anyway what so ever, i don't know if you understand that i'm talking about some music made in 60s 70s 80s era, that is all i am saying. and yes nirvana was around in the 80's but they were a more new generation rock.
