the reason nobody wants to be related in any way to the nazis is for the stigma associated with them. same as with the swastika. its consider a hate party and emblem. but there are many pictures and statues of buddha with a swastika.

also like i said if this guy is the uk vesion of michael moore he must be a huge joke. in the US the far left wing liberals love michael moore the rest of us look at him as a quack. half of what he says is a twist on facts and the other half im almost convinced he made up. he is a hypocrit.for instance he owns a huge amount of enron stock then tells us how evil they are.

there a a lot of corporations doing far worse things to the world than coke.

Buddha and the swastika? Are you sure your not thinking about Ganesh? In many illustrations of the HINDU god ganesh there is a swastika, I don't think its anything to do with Nazism though, and it's goes in the opposite direction anyway. I think its sort more to do with their socio-political philosophy and the holocaust, as opposed to simply basing opinion on their emblem.

there is a difference in the use, it is a sandscript symbol that when flat like a square horizontal and purpendicular means well being. it is used in hinduism, budism and various other religons.

the swastika however it turned through 45 degress so it looks ike a diamond or kite, it also is black in a white circle with a red background. that is the 'true' nazi symbol. they arent the same.

Coke are bastards, having watched that video, but the Nazi link is rediculous. They weren't nazi collaberators as the guy was trying to sell, they were just a cola company trying to sell their product to a world market. Part of that world market was the German people, and if the nazi's are the government in power, then the nazi's are the guys you go through to sell coke to the Germans.

Also he "proved" that coke had a policy of discriminating against blacks because back in the day, black people had only the low possitions in Coke's company. That's not a coke policy, that's a societal policy that permeated every company in the US at that time. He made it out like Coke was the inventor of black discrimination. I guess in every other large corporation african americans were going strait to the top :rolleyes:

Mark is as much guilty of being a propagandist as the propagandists, but he is still a very integral person. He has always tried to promote his politics through comedy, and that was probably his comedy stunt trying to get them to acknowledge this. It's still interesting that they didn't. I think it was a good way to begin the show.

About the black thing, maybe Obama should get a coke sponsorship for his election campaign, seeing as you know he is a republican?

I don't care how evil something is, if it's a good investment I will be the first one in line. Morals are one thing but when it comes to money you have to get it any way you can.

the swastikas are differant so are the ones the amercan indians used and the greek. it is an ancient symbol. but if you use one today no matter how it is oriented it will be associated with the nazi party. this is simply due to the fact most people are ignorant to the ancient symbolism. im just trying to point out the stigma aasociated with it.

enron may have been a good investment im sure. but if i were to invest money into a company i would not make a movie trying to turn the american paople against it there by lowering my profit margin. i was just trying to show that the things he says needs to be takin with a grain of salt. i liked moore up until i saw bowling for columbine.

Damn Nazi's took one of humanity's coolest symboles and ruined it for everybody! As if being snappy dressors and ruining snazzy black uniforms weren't enough...

If we knew half of what large corporations get up to we probably would never buy another product of any kind.
