That driver should get fined $1200, and lose his license for two years. He was probably speeding, and when caught was totally uncooperative with that cop, who was only doing his job.

This is what happens in a police state not the United States of America. if this officer isn't fired I wont be suprised because this is the trend. Its fucking scary
On a busy highway more/less resisting arrest........pretty obvious what was going to happen next.Quote:

Have a good one!:s4:
If you watch the video, man refuses to sign ticket at which point the cop says "you are under arrest" (cop has no choice if Einstein refuse to sign ticket) man refuses to turn around ( cop wants to see his hands, officer safety issue) and start walking
away, that's "resisting arrest".
Driver is a moron, with an attitude problem.Who doesn't now the law.
I miss the good old days before tazers, when they would just smack these clowns upside the legs with a good old piece of pine.:D
What does this incident have to do with Politics? It's hardly even worthy of the category of Current Events, but that's the best place for it. The driver broke the law, several times, and there is nothing remotely "political" about it - whether he wins in court or not.
I agree, Breuk. I'm moving this to Current Events. I think he put it here because he sees it as a comment on our shrinking freedoms. I still maintain he needs to go travel the world so he'll see the other half of that proposition, the freedoms we enjoy here as opposed to those in other countries of the world.

Def dont think the tase was neccessary
The officer is a pussy, plain and simple. He needs to hide behind his badge, with his gun and his taser to feel like a big strong man. He probably got bullied in school, like most of this cops. There's absolutely no need to tase him, what so ever. Use your hands, use your handcuffs. Use your other training besides electricuting people. It's just another example of the police abusing their powers and oppressing non violent civilians. They sicken me. He won't get fired, he'll get a big pat on the back from his fellow cronies. A 'job well done' Another 'bad guy' taken off the streets and now the world is a lot safer =/
Land of the free? Absolutely farcical.
