LED Red and Blue Spectrum lighting
I am aware.
However, show me a plant budded solely with LED, and less than $500 worth, one that doesn't look like a scrawny piece o crap, and I'll show you my 5th nipple.
People are concentrating on one color for veg and one for bud. Some companies mix in one or two other colors, but I don't think anyone has figured out the correct combination yet. It is going to take more than one certain nanometer for veg and one for bud, to see something really good happen.
So we'll want something that's mostly 420 nm (easy number to remember) for vegging and mostly 669 for budding. I don't know, maybe 70% each with about 5 or 10 other colors making up the remainder. It's going to take some experimentation to figure out the best combination, which nobody that I know of has taken the time to do. Veg LEDs are no problem. How we are going to build something for under $1000, that is solely LED for budding, and rivals the yield of a 1000 watt HPS (or even a 400W), is beyond me. I don't see it happening just yet, but I believe it will come within a couple-three years.
