oops i didnt know where you were from, when you get there youll be able to check every where out anywho (iguess your not staying for a weekend;-).i found that some of the best coffee shops were in the east side of amdam its sort of a bohemeim area full of art gallerys and antique shops and the best coffeshops.like i said just stay away from the tourist areas visit the flower market the gallerys the ajax stadium, the ann frank museum the heiniken museum the sexmuseum;-) amsterdams a great city just enjoy it!.BTW dont even think about buying anything off the street dealers the dutch police do not tolerate hard drugs on the streets and if you buy of the street dealers you'll most likely get ripped of anyway(all they sell is viagra, coke and e's but their all snide)best to just ignore them and get on with enjoying a great city.
PS i hear your weed in canada is excellent ?is it true?
oops last time i went i was intent on keeping a diary to grade the coffeeshops and strains but unfortunatly its REALLY HARD keeping any legible records after your 10th gram of testers(which is usually still the first day).just to add to the above while trying out the shops only buy a gram have a coffee and then move on(my idea was to go back to the best unforetunatly i couldnt remember where i'd bought from!!)if you like the bar then go back.
a lot of people who dont enjoy amdam are only there a short time and so stay near there hotels and only try a couple of places(cos its hard to find your way home in a different country when you VERy STONED!)
going next year
I want to go next year as well, I plan to do a lot of trips to a lot of fun places next year. Travel the world as you would say.
I was born and rasied until I was 15 in Holland. There are coffee shops everywhere, and I suggest not limiting yourself to just Amsterdam. Holland is a very small country and you can easily find more coffee shops, and much nicer places as well. Amsterdam has become very Americanized. It's what the Dutch Town in a big city would look like.
cant what to go!!! . I'm staying for 1 mouth so i no i will be hitting a lot if thim . is it true that you can only stay out side tell 10 ?:D
I miss it so much, i mite be going back around April for a week or so. Hopefully. Imo, the weed in Holland is much better then the majority of English or American, except California. They actually have a variety of potent choices, unlike what most people can get, it's just skunk or sprayed, or sand, it's fucking bullshit here. That choice to be able to buy cannabis safely and legitimately, for me, makes it the best. Jack Herer, Cheese, Super Silver Haze, Ak, WW, etc, they have it all basically. Sure one guy in England apparently grew the strongest recorded strain percentage, but i don't really care about that, it's not available. I can't wait to leave this country and move there.
only 45 minutes :wtf:? then you're not living in Britain, I guessQuote:
