I love the stuff, but I only burn it when I'm going to be up and about, not just chilling and relaxing. It burns my eyes and nose so bad, never even thought about what it's doing to my lungs.

Yup talking stick incense.
Thats an interesting point about the electronics, do you think that happens pretty much straight away? Cause I usually burn incense and just look at the smoke and relax and enjoy the smell, and when it's finished open up the window to air the room out.

Intense, clean, herbal smell that I find very pleasant. The leaves themselves are soft and a reallly cool blue/white and it grows wild a over CA.
I burn powdered incense on charcoal tablets, and have noticed when I burn a lot of it I tend to cough a little the next day.
i used to not be able to sleep without some nag champa burning
If you used air-cleaning devices, I wonder if it would help to make incense safer or, on the other hand, would it defeat the purpose of burning it in the first place.
Funny cause i just bought 3 packs of incense sticks yesterday.
I burn some of this nepalese stuff, it reminds me of India. It smells nice, but I'm sure it ain't good for your lungs.

So i would say yes, incense is harmful to your lungs.
I still burn it, i mean it's not that bad, but don't ever hotbox your room, then light an incence and fall asleep.
The next morning was hell!!!
