If I would have cut mine back to 8 inches I would have had all stem. They got a little stretched in the beginning. As long as I have the room I think that I am giving them a better chance if I leave at least half the plant, with 10 or 15 healthy leaves and 10 or 15 popcorn buds. The new growth always comes out of the buds first.Quote:

Gotcha stinky. I was also thinking of a flush and a nitrogen boost. Now I'm thinking I probably don't need to flush if I go to a bigger pot. Since she's never been flushed, would it be good to flush her, transplant her, and nitrogen boost her in that order? Or just skip the flush?Quote:

This could be the root of your problem. Plants like to have at least 20% of their foliage left to reveg.Quote:

Perhaps next time, on plants that I want to reveg, I will give them a little N during flowering in the hopes they won't eat the leaves so much. Never thought about trying that before. Could this be bad?
I'd wait to make any major changes in feeding, flushing, etc. until you see some 'normal' leaves. Re-pot and water the plant in gently with water that has a drop or 2 of superthrive added to it. That will give you just a little Nitrogen and not shock the plant.
I wasn't saying you shouldn't, I was just shocked that I hadn't even thought of trying it. Not really enough 'head' room in my veg closet for something that tall, but am looking forward to your next pix.
Cool, thanks for your help people. I will show a couple pictures if she gets going good.
i ve done it succesfully twice, both times under 24 hour light. it takes about 2 wks the same you were getting with 18hrs. i had lots of bottom growth to choose from though but it was mainly all bud and a leaf or 2.
Update:
One of the two survived. I actually thought she was not going to make it, but just about the time the last few leaves were ready to fall off, I noticed a little new veg growth. She had been slowly growing buds without other foliage.
Here's what she looks like after she wasn't looked in on for about a week. She grew into the light and got burned, and at some point in that week the light stopped lighting. Don't know when. Why does that keep happening with my tube fluoros? The photos are after I pulled down and tied down the branches. This has been the weirdest reveg I have ever heard of.
