yea your right its a "advertising statements" but its also "FACTS", i feel exactly what your saying and i can't do anything but respect that, but hopefully "WE" made it easy for StreePunk....

Oh and you wouldnt no if they are female or male, Image was right, all that is a 50/50 gamble and some might be a hermi. but i think hermi's produce female seeds? not 100% sure on that one....moving on

Both are big names, both have strong smells, ak just has a more powerful smell, both gives off one of the best highs if not the best, question the statement if you please, ignore it if you want, Im just here to try and help and throw in my 2cents here n there and Like i said, i hope we all made it easy to make a decision, im not here to argue, just learn and give advice....You know! thanks for your help!! i will grow both then...does anyone know how to kill a blackwidow without getting stung? I was going to hang my lights but theres a blackwidow right on the spot.

spiders dont sting they bite. just smack with your hand real fast so it dont have time to react. or use an iplament of destruction like a rolled up news paper ,broom handle or somethin of that nature. but watch out for the off spring they tend to hold a grudge.no but seiously if you got one you propably got more

i used to live in a basement with big giant black spiders (not widows) they were creepy. try wakin up in the middle of the night with one of them crawlin on you

And no hemies do not produce female seeds...their seeds are going to be hermie also just like heshe's parents.

i read in a grow guide by soma that he produces all female seeds by allowing a female plant to flower for 2-3 weeks past its prime, which he says produces male flowers, these are collected and the pollen is used on the next round of females to produce all female seeds.
his logic is in the fact that the initial plant goes hermie because of stress and not genetics. therefore the pollen produced has all female genetics with no genetic deficiencies.

Soma also sells some shit hermie-genetics for outrageous prices, and preaches he is all about the 'holy sacred' aspects of pot ... evidently, $350 seeds keep him 'closer to God' ... phoney fucker needs a haircut, too (and, a job) :D ... ok, ok, so now ya see my red neck :S2:

Ok so lets shed some realistic light on the issue. If a plant that has all Female Chromosomes, Go through a bloom and becomes hermie because of Stress them then male flowers that are produced will have nothing to with the plants Chromosome makeup. Therefore the pollen that is released will have all female chromosomes and therefore the offspring will have all fem chromosomes.

Now another note if the Plant goes hermie and its clones go hermie and so forth and so forth then then is due to the Chromosome make up of the plant and will be passed on to the offsrpring forever through DNA.


So basically if you stress the plants and it hermies then you get all fem seeds. If you have a plant that hermies naturally then you get hermie seeds..

I have my own theory regarding that reasoning: I believe a female plant that switches sex in response to stress, is a 'weaker' plant, and not a trait I would want to continue ... I have purposely tried to force a sex reversal on quite a few plants, and I select the ones that tolerate the stress, without reversing sex ... if I was breeding dogs, i wouldn't pick the smallest, weakest pup of the litter, I would choose the strongest and healthiest ... granted, I'm not a scientist, and this is only my opinion, so take it for what its worth ... :jointsmile:

that makes alot of sense and is actually true. When the plant hermies unders stress it is natures way of trying to preserve the species, the plant thinks that its dying, therefore is considered a to be weaker in nature. Logic would say that if the plant takes the stress and does not hermie then it is a stronger plant and does not think that it is dying and can tolerate tougher growing conditions therefore becomes ideal breeding stock... Survival of the Fittest at its finest...
