It always will depend on the cop or no cop situation.
Cop around = Stop
No cops around = Yield
No one around = Petal to the Metal
i always stop...i dont want a ticket, higher insurance or to hit some idiot walking
I always stop when I'm high. I usually do a "rolling stop" when I'm sober.
i don't have a license.
I do because I'm petrified that the police is watching me from a skycam. I have been ticketed for not coming to a complete stop, before.
Then, one day, turning out of my brother's court, with him in the car, he said, "Why are you coming to a complete stop? There's nobody around." It's like your mom tells you to eat hot dogs and your father tells you to eat hamburgers.
only because i have a suspended liscense and can't afford to be pulled over.... otherwise i'd just slow down enough that i could stop if i saw someone coming... don't really need to worry about cops and stop signs here seeing as the main roads they patrol don' thave stop signs on them and they only really ever go into residential neighborhoods because they were called there...
Yes I do. For several reasons. My job involves transporting people, so I can't get a ticket or I could lose my job.(even if I'm not working at the time). Also my insurance is pretty cheap because I have a good driving record. Plus I get a passive-aggressive thrill when people behind me get all antsy because I'm delaying them for 3 seconds. They really get upset about it.
Yes, I come to a full and complete stop at STOP signs even living in California where the "California Stop" {A rolling, kind of but, not quite stop} was invented. This has only been going on since I got pulled over for speeding last January 8th without a license.Quote:

I do. I didn't use to when there was no one around, but I was followed into my driveway by a cop who lectured me. She told me that sometimes cops drive without their lights on when searching for suspects and if I don't come to a complete stop and look I could miss seeing them and get hit.
I stop mainly because I don't want another lecture, or a ticket.
