These took about a month to root. After 3 weeks, I only had one rooted, but then I added a drop of SuperThrive to the water and SHAZAM! I had roots the next day. YMMV. Since then I've achieved roots in 5-7 days. I also use Wilt-Pruf.
Ooo Aaaah, was hopin for slightly more revealing pics that showed the bubbles too.. I've just escaped being a virgin cloner with a successful 6 in the propagator as I type... I don't think I have the mental capacity to imagine what's goin on in your bubbler chamber... besides some bubbles maybe?Quote:

i here honey works better than rooting powder
i was looking at a thread about 2 or 3 weeks ago and sum guy said that hes been growing for 20years and has been cloning for all that time and he said that honey is by far the best thing hes used
straight from the supermarket

simply get some tree compost from a dead tree, grind it up real good then stick cuttings in. after that water with 1/2 cup urine per gallon of water every 3to5 days. use cool white or daylight flourescents 3 inches away from cuttings and wait for about 10 to 15 days
Gamedog, have you used this method successfully yourself? Can you do a photo run-through?
Essentially, RapidRooters are a more predictable and easily available source of composted tree material with the micorrhizae that you're after. The urine on the other hand... I'm skeptical... that dilution sounds way too salty and strong for plants. I'd like to see how well it actually works. Kinda like rapidrooters and superthrive... but hippiestyle? :D
I'm afraid I do it "granny style"- I just stick the cuttings from the mom into a cup that I found a plastic lid for (burnt a few holes in the lid). No hormones- just H2O and sunshine or CFL light 24/7. Not 100% success, but I don't need 100%- I am in California and am limited on how much I can "legally" grow.
More often than not, I am using cloning for sexing seedlings. Here, I put the cuttings under 12/12, to force them to sex and allow me to find the males early. These don't root very fast, but most do root eventually. As soon as a female shows, she's removed from 12/12 and put back under 24/7 to reveg. I figure it's a free female plant to replace one of those dang males. They grow kinda funny for a while, but are growing normally before they are ready to go 12/12 again. - Granny:hippy:
i havnt used cloning powder/gell either, but i bet it would help. the one thing that did help with the % that survived was changing the water every day or 2. instead of 50% i got 75% to root. i clone in a dome with plugs. i bet the clone solution would speed things up though because it takes from more than one week up to 2 weeks to root for me.
