Congradulations, you've just discovered the horrible evil that is the Ipod battery. I've had 3 Ipod mini's replaced under one warranty, and every one has had it's battery die. I charge it for any amount of time, and within 2 seconds of playing something it'll stop with the "low battery" sign.
Apple is evil. The ipod interface is fantastic, but they'll give you one battery after another that'll crap out.
where in Toronto is the apple store
There is one in the Yorkdale mall. I think there is one in the Eaton Centre as well... just type it in google, and you'll find all the locations. The adaptor worked great, but it was about 50$ at the time.
yeah just bring it into the apple store. i think the battery is totally dead as in it cannot be recharged, it happened to mine. they'll replace it right there for you. if you make an appointment etc. apple is great otherwise. lol
Thanks for all the help and i hope i can get it working again
Keep rockin. haha.:hippy:

not to long ago I dropped mine in water. i though it was done . then it would play but not turn off . i just waited it out . then my hubby took it apart to dry it more . now it just takes longer to come on . when it does come on it blinks like a light bulb flash.
