Best Way to Curb Root Rot
I always use Superthrive (along with Clonex) for the clones, always with B1 for transplanting and whenever the spirits move me for growing plants. Superthrive is as much voodoo as it is science ...but I see no advantage to pissing off the grow gods so I use it anyway.
I don't know about the H2O2 - maybe if Weedhound drags her butt out of bed she'll tell you. :D

Ok....its out......sort of....LOL. :D The peroxide I'm talking about is your regular store bought....3%.....not the super stuff at 35%.....that may wipe you out right there so NO on a couple of tablespoons of 35%. I just the other day bought some of that super strength H202 myself and haven't figured out the dosages yet so cannot offer your amounts for that.....only the 3%. My usual dosing for that is 2 tsp (10ml) per gallon but I'm sure there is some room to work with using the store bought stuff.
Ok.....ummm.....1 ml is not really the same as one drop.....watch them carefully and if they seem to turn a darker green change the rez asap.....you may not have a problem if your plants are old enough. I killed off some brand new seedlings with 1ml/st per gal but my older plants (about 4 weeks old) did fine at that strength so just keep an eye.
I'm going back to bed.....:S2:

1 drop is a fraction of a mL.
Hang on let me go check with a scale and a similarly viscous liquid- I'm at the lab atm.
Okay using a detergent of similar viscosity to superthrive, and a dropper with an opening similar to an eyedropper you'd have around the house, I got 45 drops = 1mL measured in a vial graduated in 0.5mL increments.

Stinky don't get me started with that kind of thing.....how many drops in .02ml? Or .003ml? I could go on forever with that kind of thing. :D That is EXACTLY The kind of mindless info I love.
The stuff I killed in ST were BRAND NEW-just-popped-out-babies but older plants may do ok....mine did at 1ml/gal for several weeks in addition to reg nutes.....Stinkster knows more about this kind of thing than I do. I will bow to her word. ;)

you all know how much I love Superthrive ... NOT ... ( hoo-doo medicine-show crap cure-all ) ... one drop per gallon for cloning purposes, and I wouldn't swear that it helps with that ... but, I HAVE killed seedlings with it :wtf: ... as my 2nd-generation nursery owner (botany degree) says " I sell LOTS of Superthrive, makes me feel like P.T. Barnum, 'sucker born every minute'...

... Yet, still, you use it. As a recovering catholic, I truly believe it is fear of angering the grow gods that compells us to use it. :D
The farm supply store near my home sells Superthrive by the gallon. I think the strawberry farmers use it. (It's actually quite reasonably priced by the gallon - somewhere around $40-$60.)
... but what the hell would one do with a gallon of Superthrive? :wtf:

My plants are 4 weeks old tomorrow, and they are al very healthy and vigorous; to change or not to change? I am still on my way home so I haven't looked at them yet, but what do you guys (and gals) think?
