i have never seen someone hassled for smoking at a concert and honestly every single concert i have been too outisde of bb king i have seen people smoking whether it is like a band that is known to have a stoner following or otherwise. dont go blow it in the face of the security and they wont care it is a hassle to them.
Well, I have been to hundreds of concerts, and many within the last four years, and security, the staffers, and the cops are apeshit on keeping us from smoking at concerts here in Georgia.
At the Roger Waters concert a month or so ago, it was everywhere, and there wasn't much they could do. But security was TRYING like hell to stop it. Didn't succeed, though!
It was a GREAT concert!
Voodoo Fest offers no camping on the city park grounds. I don't know how late the grounds will stay open, but it will be nothing like Bonnaroo in terms of camping.
Getting into the festival will consist of a quick one-two pat to your pockets. The best way to get stuff in is to put it in your shoe or in between your stomach and your waistband. Just don't make it obvious, the security does not care but they will take what you leave in your pockets. Be creative, as Bonnaroo security would say.
Once you are inside the grounds you can smoke wherever you want. Especially during shows.
btw OldStoner: Voodoo Fest is in New Orleans, LA. So we will be in the states :D
