Ionizers, are cheap, and do work, but not completely, I use one, and my house smells, but it STINKS if I turn it off. It's about placement, follow the instructions on ioniser placement carefully. Putting it on a shelf, with the outlets overhanging is very important and pointed toward the stinkyness, works best.
