i would say that lamp is to big(hot) for that small space
my space is a little bigger and the temp is 80 degrees with my bulb
still to hot but at night i gotta have the door shut wot dont help
btw im also new to growing

cfl's are cooler have the correct spectrum and are cheaper to buy and run
ok, I havent updated in a lil while, i have now re-potted my plants (again) im waiting till i can sex them till i put them into their final pots.
They have survived pretty well from the burning.
I now have them under a 70w hps and 2x20w cfl. im planning on buying a mh 250w bulb at the end of the month, but im worried about temps, the 70w fixture is non mh compatible. I've spotted some 65w 6500k cfl on the internet pretty chepa, i'm contemplating getting 4 or so of them. Im guessing im either gonna have 1 or 2 females if im lucky!
I have no idea of strain or sativa/indica perhaps you guys could tell me something about these plants? i can't really sign any sign of sex as of yet or am i missing something?? the biggest is currently on it's 6th node? but they are only 3weeks old?
All of the plants have the same formations, tho some have a very small yellow tip on the node growths.
I was going to order the canna vega nute pack, can anyone advise any cheaper/equally good/effective nutes (im in the UK)
Also these plants have been growing now for 20days!
I'm quite suprised with the smell of the biggest plant, its quite pongy, it smells really musty like when you smell weed and it kinda tickles your nose a lil, like a "hazey" kinda smell, hard to describe, also a kinda smell of coffee, its smells lushious.
Any advice, tips and info will be very much appreciated..
