freeway
wind blowing
cars on the street
a birds nest that is literally 5 feet away from my window
- highway
- cars
- sirens
- people shouting
- kids playing basketball
- if its really quiet I can hear the subway, which is like a block or two away
city life sucks.
Crows, spring peepers, the neighbors' dogs, the wind.
Sometimes when it is quiet I can hear them building trains down at the railroad yard a couple miles away- it sounds like thunder, almost, when they slam together.
We have a waterfall and a stream just the other side of our patio, so it always sounds like one of those little water serenity things that people buy...the every now and again I'll hear the traffic but usually the waterfall blocks most of it out. Depending on the time of day, somtimes it'll sound like the rain...
cars zooming buy, trucks also, birds chriping and bugs making wierd noises. =]
Lots of drunks and drugged up people, lots of police, ambulance sirens.
I can see why your grumpy CC :(
and I meant by not buy before.. typo :P
now i hear the peepers
I just hear crickets and shoes on pavement.
