I also agree that Kanye West is the better artist overall. He's got a lot to say, that's for sure, and a powerful way of saying it.
I'm moving this to the music lounge though.

You know, I'm not a huge Kanye fan and I'll agree he's way too cocky and into theatrics. (although I'll give credit to him on that one, I think he's smarter than people take him to be and he knows his theatrics just bring more publicity and hype, which in turn bring more sales).... But, the man can throw a damn good beat together when he wants to, he's a pretty great producer and I'd rather listen to his rhymes over 50's banter anyday. I've heard some good reviews about this album and the singles I've heard really aren't all that bad, I may go pick up the album if it puts 50 out of the market... If 50 doesnt hold to his word and retire, then he's lost what little credit he might've had.
i bet you 50 cents that 50 cents still will continue selling records.

anyway this whole shit is soooooo fake and commercial its unbelievable. they perform on stage together, made some songs together, everything. its justs a marketing tool to get people to music stores to buy their albums. dont feed into the hype.
I just heard on the radio not 30 minutes ago, from 50 cent on some stupid sports talk radio show at work. The host asked, "so are you gonna retire now? and 50 rambled on and on and said "no", and said something like hell still make music organiclly....???

Now that I think about it, they're probably in this together as a marketing ploy.
Yeah I was reading one of my celeb mags a few hours ago and 50 cent said that its all a joke and he has "no beef" with kanye.
dindt even know their was beef but Im down with 50 music I like all his old stuff thogh this new album is just alright. Hes got the whole thing on my space to listen too. That flick he did to get rich or die tryin; I like, coars I like gansta movies.
Why wouldn't you listen to it? It's a great album...the production is unreal. I've seen you post about underground hip-hop...that shit isn't in the same universe as this music.Quote:

It's not a secret plan. They are good with each other...Kanye even did a track for 50's next album.Quote:

I'm pretty sure the deal was for the end of the SOLO career, thus why there would be a Kanye track on 50's next album.
