Is it ok if the plastic bag looks foggy?
It is damn near neccesary, and also covered in a previous response! This has the potential to be a LONGGGG thread so Im gonna sum it up.Quote:

5.) Check on moisture in bag. Remoisten if needed.
6.) Keep checkin'....(but avoid exposing to light)
7.) Hopefully, they pop soon but can take over a week
8.) VERY CAREFULLY remove seeds when 1/8 of an inch of root shows and place them gently, tap root pointing down, in your medium.
Good Luck, hope I didnt leave anything out, but if I did it's YOUR FAULT for making me post this!;)
The bag is foggy from the small water droplets condensing on it. If it's foggy then it's humid and thats good.
An easier way to germinate seeds is to take some room temp water in a glass then drop ur
seeds in there then put them in a drawer and wait for those suckers to pop
my favorite method:
1) place seeds in a cup of water overnight. 12 hrs max.
2) place seeds in paper towel that is wet but not too wet because they need some air. also make sure it is in total darkness and stays relatively warm 70-85 degrees.
3) when the root is about a quarter inch long place it in a pre moistened grow medium with no fertilizer and the root going down. Care not to leave roots out too long or they will dry and the seed will die. Minimize exposure to light.
4) after step 3 it will take about 2-5 days for the sprout to show and make sure it is in light when that happens. keep it close to the lights to make strong stout seedling growth.
Good luck guys.
