Are these plants male? Please help

Only the females grow the buds that we all love so much. :thumbsup: He's got another 7 weeks or so before his plants will be ready so the males don't really do anything great unless you are breeding. I personally will use the males for cooking....they will get you up there but you need ALOT.....abot 3 times as much as you would use of good bud.....to get the same effect since there are very few "trichomes" (the cool things that hold all the thc and cannaboids) on male plants and even on the females they don't start piling up trichs till the end.

If the male succeeds in pollinating his females they will turn their energy to making seeds and stop putting out the resin that is the CHIT.:D That's why "sinsemilla"' (seedless) buds are the most potent. :)

omg thank you!!! I've always wondered why everyone thinks that the girls are da bomb (other than the obvious ;) )!!! lol

It's true everywhere isn't it LOL!! Miley...the males will USUALLY show first so don't get discouraged if you seem to be seeing males everywhere and no females. BUT....do wait and be sure they are male (the one in the photo definitely is) because there is a point at the beginning where they both can look alike......or you could post another photo and I'm sure Elway will know... :)

Thought I'd post one last reply to this thread being that I did manage to get one female plant from my first wave. Here are the first pics of the pistils emerging. Happened sometime between 5am and 11pm today so thay havent been emerged for very long now. Hope these pics help anyone trying to sex their plants.
