My grandparents - who took me in and raised me when my mom had me bouncing from home to home as a kid
My high school English teacher - pushed me up into advanced classes and convinced me to actually make an effort
My friend Kaycie - She's pulled me through some tough stuff since we were 7, and has helped me to reconcile with my mom

My dad - for playing me all his records when I was little sparking my love of music at such a young age
Metallica, Tom Morello, Adam Jones, Flea,Les Claypool - The reasons I started playing guitar and bass
Richard D James (aka Aphex Twin) - his music is what sparked my interest in producing and electronic music many years ago
Mr. Adolfson - an art teacher I had for many classes in high school, gave me lots of encouragement on my art, and said a lot of wise things, he also taught me a lot of things about using your creativity to its fullest
Dr. Solum - my sound professor at my college, the guy has an amazing understanding of the nature of sound, and although he explains things in abstract ways his lessons are great
My old hockey coach - taught me and my friends a lot of lessons, more than just hockey, he was a great coach
Mr. Redmond - A teacher I had that gave me a lot of encouragement back in high school

My bosses - all 3 of them, for giving me my job, even though i had no qualifications. If it wasnt for them i'd be jobless.
My dads and my friend, the late Lenny McLean [RIP my friend] for teaching me how to fight - and teaching me how to kill with a single punch. [which he did, and spent time in prison for it]
My parents for putting up with my violence, giving me money when i was a kid and not calling the cops when i brought guns home.
There's alot of people who have done something or other and it's changed me.
My cuz Geoff for getting me off the horrible white powder.
And even though ergot isnt a person, it changed my life the first time i tripped, made me think about EVERYTHING. Shame that didnt last, coz i dont think before i do things these days.

When I was a kid had these two friends Osbert and Bunny that used to talk about Rastafari. Would also say my wife cause life hasn't been the same since I met her ;)

My grandma KK, for showing me life is what you make it. You can do anything you want. become anything you can.
My mother, for showing me exactly how NOT to live life.
My father for also showing me how not to live life.
My other grandmother, for showing the endless love for people who hurt you daily. But comin into aceptance that's jsut who they are.
And myself for being so strong in time's i never thought i would last..

An unnamed teacher in 1st grade, for introducing me to books (The Hobbit was my first 'real' book.)
My grandma, for loving me and taking care of me after my mother died when I was 12.
My foster parents, for giving me a stable home when I needed it most.
My significant other, who accepts me for the damaged person I am, and who has helped me heal from wounds left by a tough childhood.
My trigonometry and calc I teacher, who showed me how fun numbers can be.
My deputy juvenile officer, who went way beyond the call of duty in finding me a decent place to live after juvenile detention.
My 4th grade teacher, who saw my potential, and helped me get tested and into a school for gifted children.
A friend of 18 years, who has always accepted me and my various flaws, and has been there when I needed him, every bit as much as I have been there when he needed me.
People who changed your life...
My mother showed me that with sacrafice, ANYTHING is possible. She taught me how to be independent and why I should work hard for what I want.
My father showed me how happy and simple one can be with very little.
my uncle showed me that even people with past troubles can make it in life. And usually, they become even greater after a positive change. He also showed me what a normal, healthy family should live like.
My grandfather........lol.......he showed me how to be a man. nuff said.
my grandmother......oh my god....she's an angel. she showed me what a true woman is like. she also taught me to value myself.
my friend showed me how to deal with life's problems. he showed me how to keep your head up, even if you are at rock bottom. he also showed me how to bounce back from one of lifes biggest pains....losing family.
and people i interact with and encounter on a daily basis show me how negative the human race can be so i learn from them..everyday.
