Will you pay your taxes on legalized weed?

Do I pay taxes on alcohol? Yes.

So the same would go for weed.


But ofcourse, I would grow my own as well.


I would still buy weed tho because I would want to try all the different strains

If it's legal, i'd pay tax - it'd still be cheaper than it is now, but if it was legal i'd be growing my own in very large amounts [only a few at a time for now] and i wouldnt pay those wankers in Government a penny.

Keep in mind that when its legalized, that the tobacco companies are already geared up to mass production, complete with packaging, labeling, advertising, etc. All they need is the law passed.

i agree. as a buisness owner, i would definately/have to, pay taxes on it... and i would probably still grow... definately outside AT LEAST, i have been growing off and on since i was 12, ya know... hard to stop... but i could let my plants grow as tall and bushy as their genetics want

Yeah but the tobacco company weed would probably be shitty. There would probably be the mass produced brand name weed, which would be sold everywhere, but only special stores would have real, natural, good weed.

i know this is kinda off topic on the taxes thing...but if it was legal i think that it would have to be monitored by the city, or somthing. I just cant see everybody going to work high n stuff being very well for the economy i would love to see it happen but will it?

How different is that from regulating alcohol? They'll just have the same phrase:
