Clones a mother and a lowryder...
Yeah Like I said I gave them a nice drink this morrning,, 1/4 strength nutes and 1/2 micro supp With water run off and all I wonder what they will look like when I get home.
I will say one thing with the Coco so far is I have seen very very fast new growth and root growth, I swapped one clone out for a healither one I had and its roots had already stretched all over the pot, I was pretty surprised.
Thanks for the help everyone. Ill be posting the results in a weeks time. Everyone can watch me learn how to do a Coco Grow.
Just so everyone knows, I added Dolomite lime to my Coco. I did it to my outside balcony tomatoe plants when I mixed their coco I and have yet to have to ever check PH Or Ph my Tap water.
So I did it to these indoor plants as well. 30ml of lime per gallon of medium. Well see if that ends up hurtiung me in the end. hahahahahahaha I used to be all Hard on Ph and stuff but im finding myslef getting kinda lazy in that department. I have to break out the meter.. the Ph up/Down etc its just a pain in my ass... But It is important so I will be doing it often with theis coco stuff as I can tell its a bit more important. (well ist really always important)
thanks again Ya'll

6 days difference.... Its looking pretty decent... Runoff Ph was 6.2 (Ph'd water to 6.8Ph) which I think may be a little low with even with Coco. So next time they'll get A bit higher of a Ph perhaps 7.0Ph.
Im impressed with myself.. the watering is actully really nice it suks that you have to give them so much (for me it was 2.5 times more water) but I don't have to water for like 5 days thats a real bonus for me since watering is a real pain in my rinky dink apartment.:(

KD that is actually not too low for coco- think of it as a hydro hybrid technique, lol. The pH range is lower tahn for soil.

I use hydro pH for my coco (around 5.7). If you take at look at the propaganda Canna products puts out, they claim that it is useless to measure the pH of coco runoff - they didn't say why, only that it is a meaningless exercise and indicative of nothing. :wtf:
Coco should be watered daily. There's one coco grower I know who waters his plants five times per day. It amazes me that you can go five days between waterings. I would think your coco would have been bone dry for days by then.

I don't believe that is true. Coco only needs to be watered as often as is neccessary to keep it from drying out. The larger the container, the less frequent the waterings. Ideal coco feeding pH is 5.4 to 6.5. Measuring its runoff is useless because regardless of what you put in, you'll tend to get the same pH runoff (at least with Canna brand coco).

thanks for the Tips.....
yeah my Coco says wet really long. My plants arn't that big yet. so there not drinkin' too too much water. when I see the top of the Coco start to dry I water. When they get bigger and fuller I will be watering more frequently.
For me unfrotunatly watering everyday would be too much hassle. Im using Cfls and AC so its not getting very hot in the Box at all.
Thanks guys and Gals...

Awsome thanks man.... I added Dolomite lime to mine (Grow shop guys recomendation) .. I used GroTek Coco, It seems nice and clean. Its not the brick format, Comes in a BAg says rinsed.
Hopefully the lime doesn't keep raising the Ph too much... I did 30ml Per Gallon Of Coco.
im using Batanicare pro NUtes, And Bio-Gensis synergy, High Tide.
thanks DukFool
