Well I don't think they sell, I just think that they probably deal pretty hardcore. I can't wait for the day when we find out that they do sell and grow and are some pretty gangster mfers.
Oh and the teens might be on Rumspringa which is a period of time where they can experience the outside world and the parents will not do much, if anything to stop them. It is at this point that they may decide whether they want to stay or leave the Amish community and their family.
And I live near a lot of Amish and I am less than 10 minutes from Lancaster county and under an hour from Lancaster.
One time I drove out to PA for service, and on my way back I stopped at one of their large supermarkets for some lunch,
but they didn't accept credit cards! LOL
I notice that the feedback is coming from people who are close to these communities, but not from the community themselves!

Did u ever notice a lot of people think of the Amish as ignorant, primitive people? I had to do a lame ass project for school on the Amish. They're just people born into a different religion. They have strict ass rules but still pull the same shit.
