Mason jars are pretty cheap, regardless ... I bought a case of twelve pint-size ones, for about $7, at my grocery store ... as to storing in the freezer, I stopped doing that ... freezing keeps it fresh, but dehydrates the herb, so it dries to a crisp ... of course, you can always throw a lettuce leaf, or a fan leaf, in there, to restore humidity ... :jointsmile:
