Seeds dont need light. They want darkness, dampness and warmth. As soon as they sprout they want weak light in the beginning, and increasingly stronger light during the next week until they're ready for full supernova light.

your seeds will sprout in a few days probably...it can vary depending on the quality/genetics.Quote:

ferts high in nitrogen are ment for vegging and ferts lower in nitrogen and higher in P&K are ment for flowering. dont add any ferts for at least 2 weeks or more. your soil has enough in it to feed your plants for awhile. when you start w/nutes, start off with a much much weaker solution maybe 25% and see how they respond .. work your way up as they get older and you can see how they respond. less is more
I spray regularly with neem- it is wonderful- but apply it LIGHTLY to the leaf surface. It's all good.
so should i just keep the light on 18/6 for the seeds to sprout and turn of a couple bulbs?
just have the two fluro tubes on and 2 23 watt cfl and kepp the 4 43 watt cfl's off untill a week after they sprout
the fertilizer dynamite has the highest nitrogen and i think the liquid fert MG has alot more p and k
is there anything i should change and should i turn the fan off untill they sprout or just put it on its lowest speed?
stinkyattic what is neem?
how does it work what does it do?
im just gonna my light on 18/6 bec.. theres already two seeds that sprouted and more to come!!
that lime i have should i mix it in every transplant?
and im also gonna mix that dynamite fert when i transplant i guess i should'nt mix to much in wouldnt want to burn my plants!
neem is an oil from a tree found in india...its an natural pesticide that can be used to treat spidermites. you mix the oil with water in a spray bottle and lightly mist your plants for protection.Quote:

yes...don't use a lot of ferts ... work your way up. when you start adding high quality liquid nutes you will be amazed how fast they start growing even after just one application....remember less is more

k=potassium
P= from bone meal, you can get it at walmart. It is also good for adding Ca and helping to buffer your soil against becoming too acidic.
never heard of dynamite.....
Not a fan of anything made by miracle grow....it can work but there is stuff far better.
I like Fox Farm nutes....then make one for vegging and one for blooming. Very high quality liquid nutes. You can get them by ordering online or going to a hydro store. Not sure if nursery's carry fox farm. They're worth it to have IMHO
