Brown recluse spiders have a necrotic venom. The bite is usually painless and goes unnoticed. After a while it can blister, swell, and the flesh will start to rot. That's the potential problem with it.Quote:

However, they won't attack (large things like humans) unless they feel threatened. Which usually is when we press against them. Like if we were in bed asleep and rolled over on them, or if they were in your shoe and you put it on. You'd probably get bit.
But yeah, I like the spiders that don't pose a threat to me. The others, I kill on site.
