Sorry, Slip, but welcome to the human race. Unless you have money for surgery, serious chemical peels, dermabrasion, or laser treatment, stretch marks are there to stay. They're essentially little scars. Cocoa butter will moisturize your skin. But it won't prevent them or remove them. Everyone has some stretch marks, even relatively thin, toned folks. Consider yourself in good company--about 99.9% of the human race.
Stretch marks are scars, eh? Don't worry mate, chicks dig scars. Or so I'm told. Most girls are horrified by my cigarette burns. :wtf:
theres a product called Bio oil which is really good for healing scars an stretch marks, I had a huge scar on my arm, after using bio oil for a year its almost invisible now, might work for you.
smokinghabit......stretch mark are not just caused by weight gain....stretching, muscles growth, growing taller....they all contribute.
slipknot....Sometimes they fade with time...coco butter helps...i would buy some scar lotion, like mederma. ....oh and a lot of skinny poeple have strech marks AND cellulite.
my boyfriend has stretch marks on his arms up by his arm pits, cause when he was locked up he just started to lift weights ALL the time, it was like, all he did. He uses real cocoa butter (not the type in a lotion or a cream but like a block of it lol) and I think it helps, I use mederma, for scars on my forearm which are pretty bad but over the years they have faded and turned white (instead of purple/pink thick scars), I recommend it.
Physical activity will NOT prevent stretch marks in muscular people who are getting them from gains in bulk do to muscle mass.
Keep well hydrated and use cocoa butter daily after your shower to prevent them and slow them down.
Oh- btw- those armpit stretch marks on weightlifters are, IMHO, akin to a battle scar. If you're bulking up fast enough to get them, be proud.
