in mourning for those brothers and sisters who have been deleted from our lives for no other reason than their date of birth.

I confess that I'm feeling sad about that, too. I know why our owner made the decision. And I understand why he did. He's working hard at raising the level of discourse and at maturing our site content and marketing direction, both for our members and our advertisers. But I miss our little brothers and sisters in green. It's the former teacher in me. I enjoyed working with kids, even if many of them required more moderator intervention.
