Gay people should rise up and create their own righteous ceremony! God says no. Gay says yes! You could use that for a campaign slogan, if you wish. Also, I don't understand why gay marriage was put under such scrutiny in the past. There's the obvious theory that the nation's majority finds gay marriage downright disrespectful and should be abolished. I guess that's it. So what are we going to do? Why should gay people live less a life because of a majorities insecurities? "Good question, Ganj."

i think its sad really. How America is so out of touch with its constitution. Gay people not being able to adopt? Its rediculous.

There are no true values anymore. I think when people realize that the world doesn't belong to them, and all this space and protection we fight to attain, we build up so much hate over something that has a peaceful resolve. I can't even say it's sad without somehow being susceptible to slipping into this tiny little realm where people think their narrow thoughts.

I might understand if gay people were in the middle of the road blowing each other or something and being a niusance but in reality they are just like everyone else except they just like their sex differently.

I think GWB actually is againt it though. Although i dont doubt that a lot of politicians are just anti gay marriage to get the stupid christian votes.
