Odd Weed

noone else to lend their expertise on this matter?

Ummm... actually it does sound like flint to me. But it could be the weed, because every now and then my weed will crackle and pop and shit. That usually happens when i spark the lighter up to close and flint flys on to the bow so when i light it, it sparks. I know its bad for the lungs so i dont do it on purpose. But if i do i like to watch it sparkle haha.

that is the best way to describe it but its bomb nugget there is none of that nasty shit

hmmm sounds to me like whoever was growing that weed was growing it in a metal bucket or something similair like a galvanized tub or something. One of my buddies had this happen and he was the one growing it so he was able to find out what caused it.

oh damn or what choppile420 said because i have had that happen too if you light the lighter right above the bowl some flint flys out and sparks and bounces around and the first time it happened i thought it was because of the weed but it was just me being a dumbass

There was a lot of weed a while ago in Britain that had microscopic glass bits in it, to make it look "crystally". I imagine that would burn funny too, and not be good for your lungs at all if you inhaled the red hot bits. I'd smoke it in a bong just to be sure.
