Lamb is the best! My favourite meat is lamb/beef. I think lamb for everything other than roast - if it's roast i like a nice fat chunk of beef, all the trimmings. Lock, stock, the fucking lot!
If you and yeag do ever venture over here give me a shout and i'll show you about the gaff.
lamb is very good we have lots of places like that around here we have a middle eastern/ Mediterranean place that makes the best shawarmas and gyros they are delicious the indian place we have is more of a traditional indian food place with all kinds of different curries i really like the vindaloo. the kabobs are really good too.
Absolutely- no doubt the two of you will have plenty to talk about- you know he's been driftnetting since getting back home to the frozen north? And I'm still dreaming of the perfect liveaboard sailboat, but TERRIFIED of marine engines... I think I need to go to LIP therapy, lol... help!!! Is the Volvo Penta as frightening as it looks? :DQuote:

I literally grew up on Indian food.

when you hear the rumblings of somthing stirring deep inside
getting up, clinching you ass checks
and walking like both legs are stuck together
then getting to the restroom and doing that pulling you pants down and turning around motion and having crap shooting out like a jet engine splattering all over the bowl, wall and floor!

Damn I cried like a little girl omg i cant even remember what it was all i know is i lost face........good times serves me right
That's a first lol, scared of engines? People dont realise quite how dangerous mechanical things like that are. It's rather funny you should mention it, i virtually cut my thumb off today, went to the hospital and they said it wouldnt need surgery. Supposidly it'll heal on it's own? LOL - The thing was hanging off. I knew there was an artery there so i was a bit worried. One of the women in reception screamed at the amount of blood! I found it quite funny - i mean it hurt, but i think it was the shock. I'm still a bit funny now. Dont know how to describe it. I'm so clumbsy it's not out of the ordinary to bleed everywhere and nearly loose a digit.Quote:

There only low HP lorry engines, with a completely differnt gear box. I mean, they're build for boats, as theres more on a boat engine, but really you could put a marine engine into a lorry. It'd just go so slow it'd be a waste of time. I mean the boats only go about 6 mph tops on the rivers. I think the highest rev is about 4000, and thats the engine REALLY going for it.
Almost all of the engines i work on are Nanni Diesel, and a few Perkins, so i can vouch for how good and realiable they are. Cummins is another winner. Havnt had much experience with volvo engines, only the cars, but i see no reason why it wouldnt be just as good as any other.
If i had to give my personal opinion as for endurance and reliability i'd say Nanni Diesel.
The pics are obvious, one is a Nanni Diesel Engine, and the other is my severed thumb - it doesnt look like much now though. I gotta actually bother going to the docs to keep getting it checked for the next few weeks though.
And heres a pic of me from 05 working on one. I had long hair haha.
