I disagree with the fact that you cannot change someone's opinion. I do agree that if you say that you are perfectly happy with your opinion and do not plan to change it, you are not a very open-minded person. You must always be humble enough to admit that there may be something out there that you have not heard, thought about or read about. And when you find that something, it can change your perspective on something unless you refuse to allow it to. In that case, you are then just being a stubborn fool. :)
Sometimes, I'm wrong. I would love to be right more often, though. So, that's why I allow people to give me thier POVs.
