First off, # of leaves depends on:
- strain- each strain has a maximum # of leaves it will ever show.
- age- it takes a few sets of nodes for a plant to achieve its max # of leaves
- stress level- a stressed or revegging plant will throw single bladed leaves
Next, MALES DO NOT HAVE BUD AND CANNOT BEAR SEED. Duh, when is the last time you saw a DUDE pregnant?

NO again this is wrong. Presence of males does not induce herms, as MArkass said, HEAT STRESS and light leaks, or crap genetics, produces herms.
The only thing that happens when a male pollinates a female (it is not cross-pollenation since this is a dioecious plant and only the male produces pollen), is that you get SEEDS.

I don't know about you guys but pic one has balls, looks to be hermie to me!!!! If you look in right side under flower..... Sry looks hermie on pic one but pic 2 and 3 look fine.

They are all pictures of the same plant and i agree at a glance they look similar to balls but on closer inspection with a magnifier they are oval shaped and growing upright

Also pic 1 is the tip of a branch pic 2 is the top of the plant

You Did some homework regarding the clones anon. Always good too see
By the way what was the seed?. Some plants are harder too clone than orders, so ive read. Like NL is good for beginners but not Beans
from Serious Seeds. Which ive grown but not cloned because i found the plants harder too grow than other strains ive tryed.........

Im not sure why your clones fail'd putting them str into 12/12 shouldnt have been a factor..When ive taken clones ive been cautious and veg'd on 18/6
for two week to establish them first. Again do, uve done ur homework
and ive no idea why they died. Strange but like i said it could be just a
bitchy strain ur growing...perhaps

anon, look closely.
Do the balls appear to be on little stalks or stems? Do they appear to be longitudinally ridged? That would be male.

If they are sitting flush in the node, and appear raindrop-shaped and smooth, they are female.

I think you are looking at a hermaphrodite personally. But the pic is on the fuzzy side.

To be honest it started by accident got a seed from a bag of bud stuck it in a pot for curiosity in a few days it had grown considerably so long story short ------here i am. Looking at different strains i think it looks most like afgani. I intend to regenerate the plant if it is female and clone it again but
1st i need to work out what went wrong. If not lighting maybe i fertilized it to soon which would add up time wise

They are definately flush , this is why im finding it difficult to be sure.

Well, give it a day and watch to see if they OPEN, or pop out HAIRS.
Mist them with water occasionally too because water deactivates pollen, and it is better safe than sorry.
The origin of your seed may well have been from a hermi mother, as most commercial grows are started from clones, and a male would never see the place... unless it was outdoor, in which case all bets are off, lol!
Well damn, not a bad plant for an EXPERIMENT hahaha now just go and see what happens when you get more serious... :D
Oh- NL being good for beginners... it's true! (why would that annoy me? haha except that I personally would choose Skunk#1 over NL, but that's just me, I like da Skunk)
I'm running NL from Nirvana right now and finding it perfectly fine. Not a stunner, but fine. I think its real value lies in what I have seen it add to breeding projects. NL crosses that I have seen are truly beautiful plants.
