As for Saving Private Ryan, I don't think its ones duty as an American to see this movie. I think its ones duty as an American to realize that the USA raided only two of the five Normandy beaches. Canada and England were there with us! Saving Private Ryan has almost no mention of this fact and reinforces what Americans already think, that we were alone on D-Day. Not saying its not a sweet movie, but its clearly biased and I'm not a fan of reinforcing people's misconceptions.Quote:
