Bah government
I live in LA too. It's not surreal, it's unreal. Nobody's working on any freeway, and that's the problem. The 405 entrance on Ventura's three years away from completion or something.Quote:

Thank God there are people who do that for the both of us.
Also, people die or get hurt when they speed or run red lights. SOME things are illegal for a reason, you know?
Ok so lets break it down, their are an estimated 301,139,947 people in this country who pay taxes as of July 2007. I'm going to get a calculator, feel free to do this at home.
Imagine an average salary of say $150000 a year. this is just a random number and I think it's kinda low but whatever. 25% of that is $37,500. thats $11,292,748,012,500 a year. . . . .
WTF where do you live where 150 thousand a year is low!? Jesus, I only make 40 thousand a year as a college student with a little over minimum wage job! If it wasn't for John having money and paying for all my stuff id be screwed! Hell the gov. takes away 30 some percent of everything I ever make. And what REALLY pisses me off is the death tax! WTF? You have to pay a tax for dying? Hell thats double taxation which is illegal. BC every red cent of what you get in inheritence was already taxed!
their is allot more thought put into it than just safety. . . I don't believe in the government like I use to, I would die for my country and my people but for politics. I don't really know what part of town you grew up on but this is a joke. people are afraid of cops when they have nothing to hide, this is a joke. I think this government, our establishment, the entire way human beings think needs an overhaul (well maybe just Americans, never really been anywhere else for long enough). We need to stop thinking about how good we can make our own life, and start thinking about how we can make life better. . .Quote:

That's cool. Why don't you do the amount of people on welfare, or currently receiving a check from the government next? Do they have those on your conspiracy websites?
If you're trying to say money's being lost somewhere, well duh. It's being lost into the pockets of corrupt politicians, but that's government, baby. King John was stealing money, so the rick people made the magna carta. We have our bill of rights, which tries to protect the people from the government. It's not the best, but we're also not being bombed in our subways. Give and take.
And if you think 150,000 is low, then you don't have a job or at least not a real one. That is considered high class. I know, I don't make anywhere near that.
That's exactly what I mean, our country does not need that much money, for every minuet detail. 30% of your life that the government decided to take from you from the day you were born. Not that they took it then, but that slap on the ass sure must of been degrading. . .lol :stoned:Quote:

hey its every man and women for themselves. Its not my job to provide for anyone else. I give money to my selected charities and thats it. My family raised me with a good work ethic and the knowledge that no one owes you a damn thing, nothing is free, and you'll have to work for every damn penny you earn.
LOL, i have never been to a "conspiracy website" in my life. I guess if no one backed the government it would probably stop so keep up the good work. I am giving my personal beliefs on a system that I feel is flawed, and has been flaw for centuries. Dating back to this countries birth to the birth of the dirty politics that made our government what it is today. . .Quote:

How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless child. When your freedom is taken, when your safety net is shattered, you'll see it like I did.
Anyone who estimates 150,000 does not have a real connection to the people. I'm sorry, but if you think that's what the average American makes, you do not have enough of an understanding about the average American. I'm really sorry, that's my opinion.
