Hey higi, your keyboard is likely malfunctioning because of something spilled on it a long time ago, maybe beer, or orange juice or something. When you have a few days when you won't be using yer PC, shut it off, unplug your keyboard, and give it a bath (the keyboard, not the PC). "WHAT?" That's right, a bath. Use your shower head, or the faucet and really soak the shit out of it. This will work to eliminate the sticky crap obscuring certain keys. The only hitch is - you have to dry it out COMPLETELY before using it again. That's COMPLETELY, mind you. Keyboards don't have high voltages going through them - they are basically glorified calculators - just a bunch of circuit traces, the switches are carbon pads underneath that contact them. Water will not hurt them. But you have to make sure they are dry. After shaking out the excess water, letting the keyboard sit in a warm place to let the rest evaporate for a few days should work, or to get it dry quicker, you could disassemble it and blot with tissue. But as there are many little screws, you might die of frustration, so I recommend letting it sit. I found a television out in the rain 2 weeks ago, brought it inside, let it dry out for 4 days, and now it works! But use caution! Some devices with high voltage have been known to go off with a bang when switched on while wet...
Holy crap, I apologize. I'm not trying to turn this into a repair forum :)
