As you get older do you find yourself playing more or less video games?
i find that when im not in school (like spring break, etc) im either partying, with my girlfriend, or playing video games.
and now that video games are getting so advanced, i play them so much more. the type of gaming experience you get now is what i used to want as a kid. i wanted to break building and use your surroundings and all this stuff. its getting to that point finally so now i can look forward to certain titles.

Hell no, I enjoy playing as much now as I ever did.

As a stoner of almost 5 years now, I can safely say that, although sesh'n'gaming is very fun, I never do it anywhere else but at friends' houses.
I don't have the time, patience or attention span to own my own gaming system, nor am I willing to fork out that much money for over-glorified binary; I'd rather spend my money on weed, smokes, alcohol, food, drugs etc.
That, and the amount of time spent at home and awake caps off at about 10 hours a week. The rest of the time I'm out, working, at school, in the gym, outside etc. I really don't have time.

Oh, and as a sidenote, I used to play a lot of videogames in my day, but have now outgrown them.
That, and I've realized that games just aren't as good anymore. Yeah, they have better sound and graphics, more complex and intricate controls etc., but therein lies the problem for me: I think that video games have gained an edge in technological development, but have sacrificed the fun of gaming in return.
What happened to the days where we could play Mario Bros 1-3, Duck Hunt, Metroid Prime etc. for hours on end? I can't even play a video game for two hours anymore, because it feels to me that they're trying to imitate "real life" so completely that they've forgotten that video games are just that--VIDEO GAMES
You shouldn't sacrifice your real life for a fabricated one.

I'm definitely playing less video games than I did, but I don't know if that's because of age or some other reason.

i see your point cannabisativism, but remember, if you go into something with an open mind, theirs very little chace it will be boring!
(yes im an insane optimist)
i hated video games (i also hated pot, i was a total straight edge), i smoked a joint with my friend cause i wanted to know what it was like, now im a total stoner (and lifes only getting better, im happy all the time, my grades are going up, i love WEED)
and video games a learned to seriously love.
the point is, if i just focused on the stuff i didnt like about pot (what its done to my brother, which i now blame on him being damn lazy) i would never have found it, and i would be a very depressed and boring person now.
if you try playing them with a blank slate, no expectations, and just lay back and enjoy the movement of the game, the stuff they put in to give you interest, you will be amazed at how much you could love it!
