That bud actually looks good, I bet it was. I think the bioggest problem back then was drying and curring. They didn't use to pretty it up like we do today.
Hey, in my very first copy of Ed and Mels' book they got a section showing you how to cure FAN LEAVES, and roll with them!!!

I guess we all just have different standards for weed now days. Don't get me wrong I would smoke it too if it was all i had but shoot, I grew better weed than that my second go around. Granted, I had the help of these forums but yeah..
