haha funny the beach...i get the hps and mh are pretty similar temps but any1 know of any lighting systems so i dont have to manualy switch my lights on and off...for 12/12 and 18/6..????

Karma, you threadjacker... it's called a timer... they sell them at wal-mart... get a heavy-duty one rated for at least 10% more amps than the ballast and shit says it all draws...

lol karma tried 2 times......keeps temps under 85.........well ik vegged with my mh since 4/15 ans changed from 18/6 to 12/12 with hps yesurday using a mushroom compost soil and pine conditioner mix get my 3 fems...

KArma threadjacking is poor form.
It's when you go on a thread started by another user on a specific topic, and try to change it to your own topic.
You already have your own thread asking about how to stabilize light cycles so leave that subject there. It's just not polite to butt into the equivalent of a different conversation unless you are participating in THAT conversation.

thanks stinky and btw karma its no big deal im not worried about it before i knew about it i wold double post and do all that you just have to have patience and i gaurantee most ?s on here have been asked a million time so try serching 1st then if you dont find it ask.....look now were off topic lol.....i have a mag. ballast but i keep it outside the closet so thats not an issue i just didnt know about the temp changes it did seem to get alittle more humid tho today than it ever got with my mh but i dont see how that could be from the light

no problem friend.....so im on my 3rd day of 12/12 with hps and hum. is still high i have one little plant in a hydro set up to see if i can do it i didnt want to put all my time into something ive never attempted before so i put a runt in there to see how itd do could that be the reason for the higher hum.

i acctually have a question related this time...my lights are now only 13 cfls 100 ina space prolly 2' by 2' by 4'...and they get hot but i dont think hot enough to burn something but i think they are gona burn my plants how far should my plants be from the light..????and will they burn with all the wattage in such a small space...
